Our founder

Pastor Rénald (Ray) Leroux came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in January 1977. A friend brought him to a Christian winter retreat where he heard the gospel for the first time. His heart was pierced when he heard that he was a sinner who would one day stand before God and be judged. He then accepted salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

His heart was instantly changed from that day on. He began preaching six months after he was saved and established a church in 1980. Pastor Ray ministered in Quebec, Canada with the French churches for 21 years. In 2001 he was called to minister within the English churches and has been with them ever since.

He loves teaching the Bible and founded Corpus Bible Institute because of the great need for English speaking Christians to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Holy Scriptures.
